Subject to availability our boat can be hired anything from a day to a year, the longer the hire period the better the rates can be offered.

No, training is provided at the beginning of all hires, unless previous boating experience can be demonstrated.

No licence is needed to drive a boat of up to 12 passengers on our waterways.

Included in the cost is the hire of the boat, all fuel & gas for the duration of your holiday, bed linen, small selection of towels,  boat insurance, car parking & complimentary tea & coffee to get you started.

Yes, one pet is allowed but must be declared at time of booking.  If you’re wishing to bring more than one pet please contact us before booking.

Being situated on the beautiful River Nene you have the luxury of being able to cruise the whole of the river (not including the tidal sections), there is also easy access to the canal network.  You would join the canals on the Northampton arm of the Grand Union.

Yes, provided you have a valid rod licence and it is within the fishing season.  Short term fishing licences are available from Post Offices or online from https://www.gov.uk/fishing-licences

On the rivers there are lots of moorings available which range from being in the middle of nowhere to being in the middle of a city and everything in between. Out on the canal you can moor, within reason, wherever you like on the towpath side, as long as you are not right on a bend or blocking a water point or winding hole.

Yes our boat has a 12v socket the same as you would find in your car.  The boat is also equipped with 220v by the means of an inverter ( you should only really use the inverter whilst the engine is running to maximise the charge in the batteries).

Yes, a boating holiday is great for the whole family.  Children, whilst properly supervised, really enjoy being on the water and find it an adventure being able to spend every night in a different place whilst still having all the comforts of home.

Yes, by prior arrangement to make sure the boat is available, you would be more than welcome to come and have a look, chat & a coffee.

Our boat (Wild Lavender ) is 44ft long and has been designed as a holiday boat, meaning the interior is very light and spacious with a practical layout. Outside is a large stern deck and a large bow area.
